Over 30,000 homes, farms and businesses are without power this evening as Storm Brendan tracks across the country.

ESB crews have restored power to over 100,000 properties over the course of the day, with the worst of the weather now passed.

An Orange wind warning remains in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.

It's set to last until at least midnight.

Winds of up to 80 kilometres an hour are expected - with gusts up to 130 kilometres an hour.

Motorists are being advised to watch out for debris when driving.

Earlier, a trampoline has blown onto the M7 in Limerick just before the Castletroy exit:

The Coast Guard is advising people to avoid exposed beaches, cliffs and harbours during the storm conditions.
